General Assembly of 1954 established this committee to study judicatories organized along racial, ethnic and cultural lines, with an eye to integrating them into judicatories in the same geographical areas. Such mergers were largely, but not completely effected when the Committee was dismissed in 1968. From the description of Records, 1954-1970. (Presbyterian Historical Society).
